South Knoxville Business Association meeting and more...
Hello and thank you for visiting my site.
I am very pleased that the South Knoxville Business Association, soon to be renamed, is revamping and meeting again. We met last Thursday and had good discussion. Most of the discussion was around restructuring and our upcoming festival. The festival will be held Saturday September 24th. It will be a daylong event which will allow our businesses to highlight themselves and draw folks to South Knoxville. More to come on the festival as we get closer to time for the event.
Mark your calendars for the ribbon cutting for the Urban Wilderness Trail located in South Knoxville. It will be held August 9th at 10:30 on the Hann-Tugwell Farm located at 654 Helix Lane. This is a culmination of hard work for many volunteers, the City of Knoxville, and Knox County. It will feature a 15 mile hike/bike trail that will bring lots of attention to South Knoxville for years to come. A special thanks to former Mayor Victor Ashe who along with his wife Joan have made a very generous cash donation to make this happen. Lots more to come on this later.
Thank you once again for visiting my site and always feel free to contact me @454-7216.
Don’t forget to shop South!
